In light of the looming end of the current series, I thought I'd hold my first, special contest in honor of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic under the theme of "Pony-fy me!"

THEME

Your mission for this contest is to pony-fy one (or both *nudge*) of my main characters:

Physical traits> Auburn hair, green eyes, relatively pale complexion.

Personality> Stubborn, strong-willed, witty, clever, very blunt and straight to the point

Other> In her own story, she is a healer type with the ability to create shields out of hard light. Also, Lhyet's other half.

Physical traits> Dark blond hair, blue eyes, slightly more tanned complexion.

Personality> Quiet, ocassionally broody, calculating, brave, kind. Unsure of how to deal with women.

Other> In his own story, he is a lancer/dragoon type with the ability to put up with Onyrica, his other (begrudging) half.

From there, you have complete creative freedom to choose their cutie marks, their body type and nature (princess-size, normal size, alicorn, unicorn, pegasus, earth...), their setting, their poses...

You can even add in your own OCs, or your favourite characters from the show... anything goes, so go crazy!

Once your entry is done, please send me a note with a link to it and I'll post it in this very journal.

RULES

To be eligible for a prize and avoid disqualification, every contestant must stick to these rules:


All entries must be artwork only (no written entries). Any artistic media is accepted (Digital art, Watercolours, Acrylic, Oils, Pencils, Crafts, Sewing, Mixed media...)
All entries must be kept reasonably PG.
The title of your entry/entries must say "Pony-fy me contest" in it, regardless of whatever you add afterwards.
You must link back to the contest journal in the entry's description.
You may enter as many submissions as you like, but you can only win one prize.
Art theft, tracing, re-colouring or manipulation of someone else's art (including original MLP art) is not allowed and the participant will be instantly disqualified if caught doing so.

JUDGING CRITERIA

The winners will be chosen based on the following criteria:


Overall quality and work put into the picture (a fully coloured piece will score hight than a pencil sketch on the back of a notebook)
Creativity and originality (a developed scene will score higher than a stand-alone character profile)
Original characterization of my OCs (copying the format of an existing pony and swaping the colours to those of my OCs is accepted but not very original)
Amount of characters displayed in the picture
Adhering to the rules all the way through the contest
